TinyMoments

Privacy Policy

Last updated 12 September 2026

TinyMoments is a baby photo editor and milestone tracker that works entirely on your iPhone or iPad. The things that matter most — your baby's photos, memories and health records — never leave your device. This policy sets out exactly what stays local, the little that is sent, and why.

The short version

What stays on your device

Your baby's name, nickname, date of birth, gender and profile photo; every memory, photo and milestone in the timeline; growth measurements; vaccination records, certificates and notes; reminders; and every design you create or save in the Studio are stored in the app's own database on your device. Nothing you enter is uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to read it.

If you back up your device with iCloud Backup or your computer, the app's data is included in your own backup, under your Apple Account, exactly like any other app. TinyMoments does not run its own sync service.

No account, no server

TinyMoments has no sign-in and keeps no user database. Reminders, vaccine nudges and daily check-ins are local notifications scheduled on your device by the app itself; no notification is sent from a server.

Baby AI

"Ask Baby AI" runs on Apple Intelligence's on-device model where your device supports it. Your questions, and the details about your baby the app adds for context, are processed on the device and are never sent to TinyMoments. Its answers are general information, not medical advice.

Photos and camera

The Studio asks for access to your photo library so you can choose pictures to edit, and to the camera so you can take one on the spot. Access is used only at that moment, in the app, and only the photos you pick are used. Saving a finished design to your photo library needs the "add photos" permission. You can change any of these at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.

Analytics and crash reports

To understand which features are used and to fix crashes, the app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. They receive anonymous usage events (for example "a template was applied", "a reminder was created"), a random installation identifier, the device model, iOS version, app version, language and coarse region, and — if the app crashes — a diagnostic report of what the app was doing. This data never includes your photos, your baby's name, the text of your memories, your health records or anything else you typed into the app. It is retained by Google according to Firebase's privacy terms (analytics for up to 14 months, crash reports for 90 days).

Advertising

The free version shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to limit repeats, measure performance and, only if you allow it, personalise the ads you see. On first launch iOS asks whether the app may track you; choose "Ask App Not to Track" and ads stay non-personalised. In the EEA and UK a consent form asks first. A TinyMoments Premium subscription removes every ad in the app. See how Google uses data in ads.

Purchases

TinyMoments Premium is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment; we never see your card or bank details. The app keeps only the App Store receipt needed to know whether Premium is active.

Other connections

Settings → "More from us" fetches the developer's other apps from Apple's public App Store catalogue. That request carries no information about you or your baby. The app makes no other network requests.

Children

TinyMoments is made for parents and carers to use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. Information you record about your baby stays on your device as described above.

Your choices and rights

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above. Changes that affect how your data is handled will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
